Elon Musk’s threat to Tesla is countered by reality Why is Musk suddenly tweeting gossamer-veiled threats to take his genius elsewhere? Possible explanations run the gamut. At a basic level, he dumped a lot of Tesla stock during 2022 when he was buying Twitter Inc and it is generally agreed that this is not an investment that has performed well.
